My Bag is the set of clubs you carry, with the distance you hit each one. Getting it right takes a couple of minutes, and it changes how well the app reads your game.
Set Up Your Clubs
Open the Me tab (Profile on Android) at the bottom right, tap the Settings cogwheel in the top right, then choose My Bag.
From there you can:
- Turn clubs on or off, so your bag matches what you actually carry.
- Edit a distance by tapping the club name.
Go through each club and check the distance against how far you normally hit it, not your best ever strike. The app uses these numbers as they are, so a distance that flatters you by a club or two will show up in everything built on top of them.
Why Your Distances Matter
My Bag is not just a list. It feeds several other parts of the app, which is why an out-of-date bag shows up as odd behaviour elsewhere:
- How to Use the Shot Tracker (Premium) suggests which club you played for each shot. That suggestion comes from your distances, so if they are wrong the app will suggest the wrong club.
- Club Recommendation (Premium) tells you which club to hit for the distance in front of you.
- Club Statistics (Premium) shows how each club is actually performing.
- All three are available with Premium and Intelligence.
Notes
- If your distances all look wrong by a similar amount, check your units before editing anything: see Distance Units.
- Come back to My Bag when you change a club, or at the start of a season. A bag that matches your real game is what makes the rest of the app accurate.
