Hole19 uses a small amount of mobile data. Most of it goes on downloading course maps, so download the course on Wi-Fi before your round to keep data use low.
During and after your round, the app also uses data to sync your scores, load Plays Like data, update LivePlay and leaderboards, create Otto reports and share your round.
GPS distances work without mobile data once the course is downloaded. If you turn mobile data off during your round, your round syncs the next time you’re online.
