Signing in to Hole19 with Facebook is being switched off. Your account, your rounds and your handicap are not going anywhere, but you need another way to sign in. It takes a minute, and there are two ways to do it.
Set a Password and Use Your Email
If you would rather not use a social login at all, set a password and sign in with your email address from now on. To do so:
- On the sign-in screen, tap Forgot password?
- Enter the email address on your Hole19 account.
- Open the email we send you and follow the link to set a password.
From then on, you sign in with your email and that password.
If the email on your account is one you no longer use, you can change it afterwards. Your new password keeps working with the new address.
Connect Google or Apple
If you prefer signing in with a tap, connect a different social account.
Within the app:
- Open Hole19 and go to the Me tab.
- Tap Settings in the top-right corner.
- Tap Connect Accounts.
On your computer:
- Open Connected Accounts page.
- Connect Google or Apple.
Do this while you are still signed in, so we know which Hole19 account to link it to. Connecting a social account does not change the email address on your account.
From then on, use that button to sign in.
If You Do Nothing
You will not be signed out on the day, so nothing breaks mid-round. But the next time you sign out, change phone or reinstall the app, the Facebook button will not be there, and you will need one of the two options above before you can get back in.
Doing it now takes a minute. Doing it from a locked-out screen on the first tee does not.
If you are not sure which email your account uses, write to us at help@hole19golf.com and tell us what you can about the account. We will help you get back in.
