Use Augmented Reality (Premium)

Use Augmented Reality (AR) to visualize the course in real time and quickly find the green, even when it's out of sight.

Augmented Reality (AR)

1. Open Hole19 and start a new round.

2. When the hole map appears, open the Quick Actions menu and tap AR.

3. Point your device toward the course to: See the direction to the green > View distances to the front, middle, and back of the green > Better understand doglegs and blind shots

4. Move your phone slowly to scan the surroundings. You can rotate 360° to see distances and direction overlaid around you.

5. To return to the flyover view, close AR.

Troubleshooting

Error: “AR failed to initialize. Error 102: Required sensor failed.”

Try this:

  1. Open Settings on your iPhone
  2. Go to Privacy & Security
  3. Tap Location Services
  4. Scroll down and select System Services
  5. Turn Compass Calibration ON

If the issue continues: Restart the app > Make sure Location Services are enabled for Hole19 > Check that your device supports AR features

I can’t find AR
AR is in the Quick Actions menu on the hole map, not as a button on the side of the map. If you don’t see it there, make sure you have an active Premium subscription and that your device runs iOS 17 or later. If both conditions are met, try restarting the app.
