Live leaderboards: Compete with your friends!

How to create a Leaderboard?

There are two ways...

First - if you want to create your leaderboard in advance:

  • Tap Me at the bottom bar (Profile on Android devices) and open Leaderboards;
  • You may have to scroll down a bit to tap on Create New;
  • Add a name to your competition, select a date, the golf course, the variation you'll be playing, and finally pick one of the scoring modes available. Tap Create Leaderboard to finish;
  • Finally, share the invite link with your friends/league so everyone can join.
  • On the day of the event, head to the Leaderboard section again, open the event you'll be playing at, and share the link with your friends so they can follow the round in real-time.

Second - if you prefer to create the leaderboard just before starting the golf round:

  • Make sure you're in the Play Golf tab and choose the golf course you'll be playing at. Select Play Golf and set up your round;
  • On the Round Setup screen, scroll down and make sure to turn on the Live Leaderboard toggle. When you're ready, tap Start Round;
  • Write down the name of your Leaderboard and tap Save;
  • Now the leaderboard is set up, you'll see two options:
    • Send Invite - Invite your friends to join your leaderboard;
    • Share Round - Want friends to follow your round in real-time? Share the link with them so they can stay updated.

How do you keep scores?

  • All participants must be registered in the Hole19 app. After joining the leaderboard, each player should start a round on the selected golf course at the scheduled date and time, and enter their scores directly into the app.

How to check the leaderboard during the round?

  • Tap the trophy icon on the flyover screen (located on the right side) to see everyone’s scores in real-time.
  • If you've already shared the link with your friends, they can simply open it to follow along.

Notes:

  • On the Leaderboard screen, tap the scoring mode to switch between Stableford Net, Stableford Gross, and Stroke Play Net, or continue viewing in Stroke Play Gross.
  • Additionally, you can tap the 3-dots icon (top-right) to rename the leaderboard or share the link with others if you haven’t done so already.
