If you only want to view distances without keeping score, enable the GPS Only toggle (turn it blue).

During the Round

On the hole map, you will see the Tee position, the center of the green, and the distance to it in the top-right corner. You can also drag the target icon around the map to check distances to any point on the hole.

By default, the target is placed where the app estimates your first shot is most likely to land.

If you have a Premium or Intelligence subscription, you will also see Plays Like distances on the left side of the screen.

The bottom bar displays the hole Par and Stroke Index. Tap it to jump to any other hole on the course.

On the right side of the map, you will find several icons that give access to different features depending on whether you are using the Free, Premium, or Intelligence plan.

To keep your scores shot by shot, use the Shot Tracker.  Find instructions here.

Notes

  • If it's your first round

Make sure you have already entered your Handicap and updated the My Bag section with your clubs and the distances you usually hit with them.

  • Pick Up

Available in Stableford rounds when you decide not to finish a hole, usually due to too many strokes.
In Match Play rounds, it can also be used when another player has already won the hole with a better score.

  • Select Your Starting tee

Before starting your round, you can choose your preferred Tee colour or course format from the second Round Settings screen by tapping your photo or avatar.
You can also change it during the round from the Settings icon on the hole map, or later by editing the saved round.
Some courses may display an M or L next to the Tee colour: M = Men and L = Ladies.
