Manual Position on
With Manual Position on, the app stops following your live location and lets you work on the round yourself.
Turning Manual Position on is especially useful when you want to:
- Edit a round after saving it, for example, to fix scores or shots. See Review & Edit Round.
- Add a Shot Tracker round manually.
- Test the app at home, away from the course.
To activate this option:
- After starting a round, tap the Settings cogwheel on the right of the hole view.
- Turn Manual Position on.
Manual Position off
This is the standard way to play. Your distances update automatically based on your real-time location, so as you walk down the fairway, you always see how far you are from the front, middle, and back of the green.
