What's in a Report
Otto looks at your club selection, your scoring patterns, where your shots finished, and your Strokes Gained breakdown, and gives you four things:
What happened in your round, in plain language. No spreadsheets, nothing to interpret.
How you compare with golfers off your handicap, on driving, approach and putting. This is the part that tells you whether a weakness is normal for your level or is genuinely costing you.
Two or three areas to work on, with one named as the focus for your next practice session.
Patterns in your club choices and how those choices worked out.
Otto takes about 30 to 60 seconds to write the report, and it then lives in that round's summary. Reports do not expire, so you can go back to any of them whenever you like.
How to generate an Otto report
- Play and save a full round in Hole19, ideally tracking fairways hit, greens in regulation and putts. Otto needs at least one completed round to have something to read.
- Open the Performance tab (or your Round Summary) and select the round you want to analyse
- Tap View report
- Give it 30 to 60 seconds and review your insights and tap to save or share the report
Come back to it anytime. Reports never expire.
You can do this for any round you have ever saved, not only the one you have just finished.
The more you track, the better the report. Otto gives its best answers when fairways hit, greens in regulation and putts are all logged. A report that looks thin usually means one of those three was missing from the round.
If you're on Premium or Free: buy a report pack
Otto is on every plan. Intelligence includes unlimited reports, and there is nothing to buy. On Free and Premium, you buy reports in packs, and Premium pays 40% less than Free for the same pack.
Packs are one-off purchases through the App Store or Google Play, in three sizes:
- Initiate: 5 reports
- Improve: 10 reports
- Upgrade: 25 reports
To buy one, go to the Me tab, then Settings, then Otto AI, then Buy More, pick a pack and confirm the purchase. The reports land in your account straight away.
If you find yourself buying packs often, Intelligence gives you unlimited reports, and Strokes Gained and Auto Shot Detection with them.

Can I get a refund for unused reports?
- Report packs are non-refundable, but unused reports never expire. For technical issues, contact our Customer Service team.
