Playing a competition? Tournament Mode switches off the features you are not allowed to use, so you do not have to remember which ones they are.
Turn It On
- Start a round and tap the Quick Actions at the bottom right of the hole map.
- Tap Settings.
- Turn on Tournament Mode, under Round Options.
The toggle goes red while it is on, so you can tell at a glance.
What It Turns Off
Three features go off when you turn Tournament Mode on:
They go grey and pick up a small red Tournament Mode label. If you try to switch one back on, Hole19 warns you that you are leaving Tournament Mode.
Everything else carries on as normal: distances, the map, your scorecard, the Shot Tracker.
Notes
It starts off every round
- Tournament Mode is the one round setting that is not remembered. Every round begins with it off, so turn it on each time you play a competition. That is deliberate: you would not want last Sunday's medal to quietly switch off your club recommendations on a casual Tuesday.
