The Preview Course feature allows you to view each hole on a course before you visit it, so you can plan your shots! If you are a Premium golfer, you can use Notes on each hole, ensuring you never forget your plans.
When you preview a course, the map is automatically downloaded, allowing you to play offline afterward.
How to use Preview Course:
- Search for courses and choose the one you would like to preview.
- Tap the Preview button and select a path.
- Swipe left or right to change between holes.
- Swipe up or tap the bottom bar to Exit Preview or Start a Round.
While previewing the course you will see:
- The Target icon that you can drag around the hole map to see distances from the selected location to the target and from the target to the Green Center (you can see the left side distances updating on every gesture).
If you long-press anywhere in the flyover, the Target icon will move to that position. - The Arcs button on the right lets you turn arcs 'On' or 'Off' based on your preferences. The arcs start on the tee and point toward the Green. Their position updates while you move the marker to anywhere on the hole.
-
- The first arc is 50m/50yd if the distance to the green is greater than 150m/150yd. If the distance to the green is less than 150m/150yd, the first arc is 25m/25yd with an arc spacing of 25m/25yd;
- The last arc is either 250m/250yd or the max club distance (usually Driver) - whichever is the greater;
- The arcs are color-coded: 100m/100yd—red, 150m/150yd—white, 200m/200yd—blue, and 250m/250yd—yellow.
-
- The Position marker on the tee. You can change the default position by dragging it around the hole (the left distances and Arcs will update accordingly).
- The Plays Like feature will help you plan your game based on your stats and clubs. Know more here.
- Fairway Hit and GIR Statistics for you and the community. If you have never played the course before, it will show 0.0 % for you but automatically update after your first round there.
